Jared Fogle Secret Audio Recordings Leaked by former Florida journalist Rochelle Herman-Walrond who helped FBI bring him to justice.
If we’re gonna try to get some young kids with us it would be a lot easier.
What if we put a camera in your kids’ room, would they be okay with that?’
- Former Florida journalist Rochelle Herman-Walrond claims she had spent five years secretly recording her phone conversations with Jared Fogle
- She first met him in 2006 and became alarmed when Fogle told her he found middle school girls attractive, Herman-Walrond told Dr Phil
- She allegedly tipped off the FBI about Fogle’s tendencies and agreed to tape her conversations with him
In August, Fogle, 38, agreed to plead guilty to one count of travel to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor involving two underage prostitutes and one count of distribution and receipt of child pornography involving 13 children.
As part of his agreement with the prosecution, the disgraced former Subway spokesman last week had his lawyers hand-deliver checks worth $100,000 each to 10 of his victims.
Fogle is facing up to 12 and a half years behind bars when he is sentenced on November 19th.
Speaking to Dr Phil, Herman-Walrond said she first met Fogle in 2006 when he was a guest on her Florida radio show. The former reporter said she immediately became alarmed when the Subway brand ambassador mentioned to her that he found middle school girls attractive.
